“Waltzing On A High Wire” by Composer Randy Edelman answers the pulverizing need and rapacious hunger for something unique that kindles a creative spark throughout the otherwise less than exciting music industry. To be released Friday September 6, 2024 by Tribeca Records, the full length, 11 track album offers some personal insight to the composer via his lyrics while also contributing a beautiful soundscape and professional production (par Randy) that touches a multitude of genres. It evokes emotions that at times spiral out of control when you least expect it.
Randy is a savvy, sensitive composer with a keen ear, an innate sense of form and a generous sense of spirit. The coming of age track “21 Again” bolts from the gate as the lead song and a somewhat reflective memory. “Birds of Freedom” an anthem for Peace has an unstoppable pulse – an anticipation that something grand is about to happen unburdened by bitter-world weariness despite the geopolitical mess we live in. “Pat Wants to Know” delivers wave after wave of heart stopping regret in a nostalgic auditory panorama.
Though some of the album has a somber tone and you find your eyes filling with tears for what you feel is for no real reason, however the joyful songs are windswept with intoxicating color. The music is beautiful and smart and will be available on all digital platforms globally. It will also be available in a vinyl CD form and a double vinyl album, both with a lyric insert.
