This visit might allegedly result in a meeting between the Duke of Sussex and his father, which might irk his older brother, William.

Prince Harry will reportedly go to Britain with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Lilibet and Archie, in a few weeks. Sources suggest that the family of four will attend celebrations to mark the one-year countdown to next year’s Invictus Games in Birmingham. This marks the family’s first U.K. visit in four years after the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror that a meeting between King Charles and the Sussexes might be on the cards. She also pointed out that if the meeting happens, it might frustrate Prince William. “It is, though, going to be a delicate balancing act for the King. If he makes peace with his youngest son, his loyal and steadfast older son will have his nose royally put out of joint,” she said.
“There is absolutely no sign of any thaw in the brotherly feud. But we should never say never. Things can change — and perhaps William might one day come round to his brother’s view that ‘there’s no point in continuing to fight any more,’” Bond added.
One of the biggest concerns for the Sussexes’ visit to the U.K. is their security, for which Harry has been fighting for a while. The former BBC correspondent said, “As far as we know, Harry’s security arrangements are still being discussed – unless he’s already been told the result of his appeal.” She explained that Harry must have some reassurance about having “the level of security” he wants for his family for them to go to the U.K. again.
