Preparations for Season 11 of Summer House are well underway after all that just went down. There are a lot of adjustments given that some people will not be back. So, who is expected to be front and center when the show returns? Keep reading for all of the details that are currently known.
Summer House Has Been Through A Lot
Much like Vanderpump Rules, Bravo has to figure out what to do with Summer House after the fallout of the West Wilson/ Amanda Batula romance. This has impacted the entire cast, and many feel extremely betrayed. So far, they have allegedly let go of West, who predicted he would not be back anyway. Amanda’s future still seems uncertain, although she has a place on In The City, but that may not last past one season. Over at VPR, many did not want to film with Tom Sandoval or Rachel Leviss. The latter did not return, but Sandoval sucked it up and tried to atone for his sins.
After Season 11, it was completely rebooted with a new cast. As of now, it appears that all bets are on Ciara Miller to carry the show through. She is currently in Fiji filming Love Island USA After Sun, and then will be on Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars. It appears that Amanda will likely go down to recurring cast member, and Ciara will helm the show, per an insider:
“The producers are betting it all on [Ciara Miller]. What Ciara wants, she will get in order to come back so count on her to be leading the charge next season. Bravo fully views her as the star of the show and the future of the franchise, and they need her to return. They will basically pay up or do whatever it takes to make that happen and so far, it’s working.”
Allegedly, Ciara will film what is needed with Amanda Batula. However, she seems to know her limits, but will not punish viewers simply because of what she went through. At the same time, Summer House will not be the same as it has been in the past, so fans had better get ready. Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, and Jesse Solomon are expected to be back on the show, as is Kyle Cooke. The newcomers, such as KJ Dillard and Mia Calabrese, are still up in the air.
Can Ciara Make It Work?
The Summer House cast parties it up in the Hamptons before they take quick breaks in New York City. This summer, they are likely not filming as everyone is off on their own with various ventures. If they did film, it would not be until mid to late July when Ciara Miller returned from Fiji. Now, do fans think she could carry the show? They had thoughts:
- Ciara running the show is comical. She is not a star for one, she slept most of the seasons, and two, she’s not that interesting.
- She’s enjoying the “I was wronged by a man but I’m attractive and not hated” reality tv phenomena.* *See…..Ariana Madix.
- At this point, I feel like Ciara should be thanking Amanda and West, they have propelled her right into a hundred opportunities she wouldn’t have had otherwise.
