Blue Ivy made a surprise appearance during the concert, playing the piano for Jay-Z’s performances of “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents.” After taking her place behind the keys, she confidently performed before walking over to embrace her father. She also bowed to the audience, blew kisses, and flashed a peace sign, earning loud cheers from the crowd.
For the special performance, she wore a pink-and-blue jacket paired with layered necklaces and statement rings. Her voluminous curly hair was styled in a half-up, half-down boho hairstyle. Meanwhile, shimmering sky-blue eyeshadow, rosy blush, and glossy pink lips completed the glamorous look.
However, it wasn’t just her performance that had everyone talking. Fans couldn’t get over how much Blue Ivy resembled Beyoncé during the performance, with many comparing her to the singer’s Destiny’s Child days. “Every time we see Blue Ivy, she looks more and more like her mama,” one fan wrote. Another confessed they initially thought Beyoncé had walked onstage, writing, “I THOUGHT IT WAS BEYONCÉ AT JAY-Z’s SHOW. OMG TWINSSSSS.” Others echoed the sentiment, calling the resemblance “insane” while applauding Blue Ivy’s confident piano performance.
Blue Ivy’s appearance marked another memorable moment in her growing list of stage performances. She has increasingly shared the spotlight with her famous parents over the past few years. Her confident piano performance at SoFi Stadium showed she is continuing to carve out her own place while reminding fans just how much she looks like Beyoncé.
