A photograph from Donald Trump’s Alaska trip has drawn attention to the two women accompanying him inside Marine One: newly appointed White House press secretary Katie Zacharia and longtime aide Natalie Harp. The image captures the pair seated side by side as the president prepared to continue his campaign schedule.

Natalie Harp’s role became especially visible later that day at Trump’s rally in Wasilla. The president called for her to bring him pardons for Zachary Czuback and Patrick Fleming, Anchorage vehicle repair shop co-owners who pleaded guilty in 2022 to violating the Clean Air Act. Harp quickly carried the documents onstage and handed them to him (via The Daily Beast).
Harp’s rapid turnaround has earned her the nickname “human printer” among Trump’s inner circle. Her duties reportedly stretch from printing news articles and running Google searches to assisting with posts for Truth Social. She serves as Trump’s special and executive assistant, a position that comes with an annual taxpayer-funded salary of $150,000.
The Marine One photograph was taken by Getty Images photographers Alex Wong and Kent Nishimura. It showed Harp, 35, and Zacharia, 41, alongside Trump, 80, as the group traveled to Wasilla, Alaska. The two aides also appeared together on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews beside White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.
Tuesday marked a major milestone for Zacharia, whose background includes regular appearances as a conservative commentator on Fox News and Newsmax. Earlier that day, she stepped before reporters for her first White House briefing as Trump’s new press secretary.
During her introduction, Zacharia emphasized her long-standing ambition to work alongside the president. “I have wanted to work with him for a very long time,” she said during the briefing. Her debut lasted about 14 minutes and drew criticism from observers, with coverage also questioning her performance.
