News has come out that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have taken the next step in their relationship. However, insiders have weighed in on the story. Reportedly, some of their old colleagues from their days at Good Morning America didn’t get to take part in the big event.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Exited The GMA3: What You Need To Know In January 2023
Robach and Holmes are both known for their work with ABC News, particularly GMA3: What You Need to Know. They served as co-hosts on the program from 2020 to 2022, before being ousted by ABC News in early 2023.
Around this time, news came to light that Robach and Holmes were in a relationship, with the two getting engaged in 2025. Following their high-profile divorces, their exes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, have also since started a relationship.

Recently, news has comes to light that Robach and Holmes had gotten married privately on September 19, 2026, in Arkansas. According to a source, the couple appeared to want to leave their time with Good Morning America in the past.
The Couple Previously Teased That They Had Set A Date During A Recent Podcast Appearance
According to Page Six, an insider noted that a lot of their former colleagues were not part of the couple’s wedding. The source shared some mixed surprise at this, noting, “Everyone was very close to Amy when she worked at ‘GMA3.’ She’s lost touch with a lot of people from there since she left. People who would’ve been a part of a milestone for her years ago were not included.”
A marriage license shared that the couple married in a private ceremony in Washington County. The two have yet to address their union publicly. According to insiders, the two kept the special day under wraps so that even some of their closest confidantes weren’t aware of what was happening.

Earlier this month, the Washington County Clerk confirmed that the two applied for a marriage license in Arkansas on September 18. The couple had also previously teased that they had already set a date on the Bill and Giuliana podcast.
At the time, Robach asked Holmes, “Are you OK with that date? I had a date that I really wanted.” Without disclosing the date, Robach continued, “You’re just telling me now on the podcast that you’re OK with that date?” He assured her that he was “comfortable” with the set date.
As they enter a new chapter together, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are keeping their old “GMA” co-workers in the past.
