According to the report, the Queen had allegedly asked the Sussexes not to share anything from the visit on social media. However, the source now blames Markle’s later post for creating fresh tensions and potentially damaging trust within the Royal Family.

Queen Camilla allegedly made one condition clear before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s family reunion with King Charles. The Queen is said to have asked the couple not to share anything related to the trip on social media.
The meeting took place at Highgrove on July 10. Harry and Markle were understood to be joined by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The gathering also supposedly gave King Charles the chance to see his youngest grandchildren for the first time in four years. However, the reunion was kept private, and no official photographs were released.
Weeks later, though, Markle shared a series of summer-themed photos on social media. One image appeared to show Harry, Archie, and Lilibet at Althorp Estate, Princess Diana’s ancestral home. Although the post did not mention the royal reunion, it reportedly did not sit well with Camilla.
According to an insider quoted by New Idea, the Queen had been “very clear” that the family’s UK visit should remain private. The source claimed the request was not simply about protecting the monarchy. In fact, it was allegedly intended to safeguard the privacy of Archie and Lilibet (via Express Online).
However, the insider believes that the message was ignored. “Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears,” the source claimed. The insider further alleged that if Markle believed posting the Althorp image was an exception, “she was very wrong.”
Not only that, but the source also claimed that the alleged breach could have consequences beyond a single social media post. According to the insider, trust was a key part of arranging the private reunion. They further alleged that violating that understanding could mean “the door would remain shut for her forever.”
