‘RHONJ’ Joe Giudice Fights Against Deportation

‘RHONJ’ Joe Giudice Fights Against Deportation

Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is still fighting against his deportation. He was deported from America back to his native Italy in 2019. Yet, the RHONJ alum still believes that this never should have happened and wants to come home. Keep reading for more details on what the father of four has to say.

Joe Giudice Ready To Fight

RHONJ viewers watched as Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison. She went away first for eleven months while Joe served forty-one months. It made sense that they did not get locked up at the same time, as they had four young daughters. Therefore, one parent was left behind to be there for Milania, Gia, Audriana, and Gabriella. When it was almost time for Joe to come home, there were some issues, given that he was not a citizen. The family continued to fight, but ultimately, he was deported to Italy, despite having lived in America since he was a baby.

He ended up moving to the Bahamas from Italy, and his girls have been able to visit him regularly. Moreover, he has begged President Trump for a pardon after seeing him pardon reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley. So far, that has not happened, but Joe Giudice is desperately making his case. He is claiming that his crimes were not that serious, so deportation was far too drastic:

“I definitely don’t think I should have been deported.”

Yes, the former RHONJ househusband knows he should have become a US citizen and only has himself to blame. However, he wants the ability to come back and forth for monumental family moments:

“I don’t wanna live [in the US]. I really don’t wanna live there. All I wanna do is be able to go to my daughters’ graduations. You know, when we have Easter, we have Christmas, holidays. Because it’s a lot for my family, for everybody, to come here.”

Another Appeal?

RHONJ is set to return for Season 15, so is Joe Giudice looking to make another appeal? At this point, he has no plans to do anything more, but he does wish things were easier. He stated that this is all very interesting given that politicians and those connected love the Housewives:

“It’s crazy because then you see Mrs. [Michelle] Obama talking about [how her] favorite ‘Housewife’ is Teresa.”

Regardless, Joe does get to see his family and is on good terms with his ex-wife’s husband, Luis Ruelas. It is unclear if viewers will get to see Joe when RHONJ returns and if his daughters will visit him during filming. Fans were very mixed on ‘Juicy’ Joe during him time on the show and felt he was both rude and disrespectful.

Do you believe that Joe Giudice should have been deported or was that too much? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
