Gen X and older Millennials spent Friday nights glued to ABC’s TGIF sitcom lineup. Full House‘s beloved Uncle Jesse was the first crush of many young girls (and boys). John Stamos has had a successful career since then, but he’ll always be Uncle Jesse. He reunited with his co-stars and reprised the role in Netflix’s Fuller House reboot in 2016.
The actor celebrated his birthday on August 19 by stripping down for a steamy thirst trap that left fans crying, “Have Mercy!” Stay on this page to see the steamy photo.
John Stamos Reveals New Career Days Before Birthday
John Stamos is known for his acting career, but he’s also an accomplished musician. He famously played with the Beach Boys for years, and still joins them on tour. But there’s another side of him that he’s finally ready to share with fans. The Full House alum announced the exciting news that he’s written and illustrated a children’s book with the help of his son, 8.

Love from Above: A Story of Tiny Birds and Their Big Meaning hits bookstores in 20217. The children’s book helps children learn how to cope with loss by looking to the birds in the sky.
“In my family, hummingbirds have always meant something more. After my dad passed, I remember my mom standing in his garden, watching a hummingbird zip by and quietly saying, ‘That’s him.’ From then on, hummingbirds became little reminders that the people we love never really leave us,” John Stamos explained to PEOPLE magazine.
John Stamos married Caitlin McHugh in 2018 and welcomed their son, Billy, that same year. He was previously married to model Rebecca Romijn.

See The Full House Star, 63, Stripped Down In Thirst Trap
John Stamos began an interesting birthday tradition a few years ago. The actor has stripped down to near nudity and shared the photos on social media. The tradition began with his milestone 60th birthday. He showed off his backside.
The Full House alum turned 63 this week and didn’t disappoint with his gift to fans. John Stamos posed nearly nude in front of a bathroom mirror. The camera angle strategically cut off before revealing too much. But the black-and-white photo showed off a fit physique for his age.
If John Stamos was seeking a reaction from his fans, he definitely got it. The thirst trap received over 5,000 comments of appreciation and lust. The meme of Uncle Jesse’s “Have Mercy!” tagline was a popular reaction. Check out some of the other comments:
- “You angled the camera all wrong, we wanna see the full house”
