John Stamos is known for his acting career, but he’s also an accomplished musician. He famously played with the Beach Boys for years, and still joins them on tour. But there’s another side of him that he’s finally ready to share with fans. The Full House alum announced the exciting news that he’s written and illustrated a children’s book with the help of his son, 8.
Love from Above: A Story of Tiny Birds and Their Big Meaning hits bookstores in 20217. The children’s book helps children learn how to cope with loss by looking to the birds in the sky.
“In my family, hummingbirds have always meant something more. After my dad passed, I remember my mom standing in his garden, watching a hummingbird zip by and quietly saying, ‘That’s him.’ From then on, hummingbirds became little reminders that the people we love never really leave us,” John Stamos explained to PEOPLE magazine.
John Stamos married Caitlin McHugh in 2018 and welcomed their son, Billy, that same year. He was previously married to model Rebecca Romijn.
