A documentary about disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes will release in October.
“You Can See Everything” by director Nathan Fielder captures Holmes’s everyday life just months before she enters her 11 years prison sentence.

The trailer shows the convicted felon talking candidly to the filmmaker. She is seen saying, “I’m not that person, I can promise you that. I don’t have anything to deceive you on, of course I’m not deceiving you,” she says in a close-up shot in the teaser.
Holmes adds, “I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that.”
“Okay. Alright. Okay, good chat … You’re being real right now?” Fielder replies.
People reports that the documentary premiered at the Film Festival. Deadline reported that a top-secret screening unveiled the film.
The film’s synopsis states, “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move.”
“What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss. From boundary-pushing directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim comes You Can See Everything,” it adds.
“What I am really excited about is for you to see the movie and tell me what I experienced,” Fielder said at the Telluride festival, adding, “I don’t know why they wanted me there. Why am I there?”
Holmes, who began her sentence on May 30, 2023 is currently three years into her sentence. Prosecutors secured her conviction for fraud and conspiracy over the collapse of her startup, Theranos.
The company had promised to redefine the healthcare system with cheap diagnostic tests. The organization also assured that patients would be able to be screened for illnesses with just blood samples. However, the enterprise failed.
